The UCLA law school has found that a marked increase in the percentage of Americans who accepted homosexual acts between consenting adults should be legal. In 1998 it was 33% while in 2007, it has increased to 59%. (THE WEEK magazine, Nov.
I am familiar with that study. I think it is due to the increasing enlightenment and tolerance of gays and lesbians.
I am currently looking these schools and wondering based on my resume what my chances of getting into each one of these schools is:

Nothing is for certain. I've seen people get rejected for having the perfect resume and sat scores and grades. Think about it, if you're capable of all of the above, wouldn't there be more that are more capable than you? Your SAT scores is fab. But colleges also have to evaluate

Students sitting near UCLA undergraduate Nick Matthews in a political science or history class this quarter might notice that he listens with almost surreal intensity or that he is wearing a hearing aid in each ear. Or classmates might see that there's a stenographer in the room who is transcribing the text of the lecture so that Matthews can view it on his computer along with them. If they guessed that Matthews has a severe hearing impairment, they'd be right. But they might never suspect that Matthews competes in the pressurized world of college debate, where understanding the rat-tat-tat-tat arguments on the fly is the name of the game and "spreading" — short for speed reading — is commonly used as a tactic. Los Angeles's hot summers make the city vulnerable to severe air pollution and the public health consequences that result from it, as well as to energy blackouts, heat waves and other ills. A new report by UCLA School of Law's Emmett Center on Climate Change and the Environment recommends the widespread use of cool roofing material to reduce air pollution and energy costs in Los Angeles and to combat climate change. Traditional roofing materials are typically dark in color and absorb heat, unnecessarily warming the buildings and neighborhoods they cover. Cool roofs take advantage of roofing surfaces that reflect rather than absorb the sun's energy, which helps keep buildings cooler and saves owners money that otherwise would have been spent on energy to cool the buildings.
