Are evolutionists renouncing the ideological theory of evolution?

Jerry Coyne is of the Chicago University Evolution and Ecology Department:
"We conclude—unexpectedly—that there is little evidence for the neo-Darwinian view: its theoretical foundations and the experimental evidence supporting it...

What do you think of Guitar World Magazine's "100 Greatest Classic Rock Guitar Songs"?

I personally think it's a pretty good list but I think Ace of Spades by Motorhead and Cowboys From Hell by Pantera should be on the list and I think some songs like Sweet Child O' Mine and Smells Like Teen Spirit is too high. But what do you...

It's just a list of songs that are overplayed on "Classic Rock" stations. Why not feature some more obscure songs by these artists or music by lesser known artists?

Ask Amy: Freezing, sneezing tenant wages rent strike against parents

I have offered to pay for these repairs, but they refused and said the area doesn’t need fixing.

When they started making me pay rent I expected the money to go toward fixing the problems with my room, but instead they used this money for my sister’s college fund.

My boyfriend (who is an engineering technician) told me he would be happy to fix the room for just the cost of materials. He said it wouldn’t even cost that much. My parents also refuse to allow this.

Am I wrong to withhold rent until the mold, window and insulation problems are fixed? I know that they are landlords but I don’t see why I should be paying for my sister to be living in a nice on-campus apartment while I am freezing here at home. -- Cold and Breathless

DEAR COLD: Your parents are telling you through their actions that they don’t want to be landlords. You have tried every reasonable measure to fix this problem, but they are not being reasonable.

SHOULD MARIJUANA USERS JUST BE TICKETED? | Cannabis ...

Every pot smoker – the kid down the street, your neighbor with the nice house, the co-worker in the next cubicle – has a “guy.”

That guy has a guy, who has a guy, who has a guy.

The top marijuana guys – Mexico’s murderous drug cartels – are responsible for most of the pot sold on Chicago street corners.  They’ve even started growing it in Wisconsin’s North Woods.

In recent years, another top “guy” has come to town: weed growers in Colorado and California licensed to supply the medical marijuana dispensaries operating in those states.  They sell their surplus in Chicago and other places where the drug is illegal.

For those guys, Chicago is a dangerous place.  They might wind up in prison, or even dead.

But their customers – dime-bag dealers and pot smokers – don’t have much to fear from the criminal justice system here.  For them, weed has been essentially decriminalized, the Chicago Sun-Times has found....

NEW YORK (AP) — AT&T announces first phones for new network

NEW YORK (AP) — The first two phones to run on AT&T's new high-speed data network will go on sale Sunday.

The phones are the HTC Vivid and the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket. Both are big touchscreen smartphones that run Google Inc.'s Android software. They'll cost $200 and $250 respectively, with a two-year service contract requirement.

Dallas-based AT&T Inc. is building a network based on Long-Term Evolution, or LTE, technology. It offers higher data speeds and offloads traffic from the current data network.

The network covers Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio, Texas, so far. On Sunday, it will be expanded to Boston, Washington, Baltimore and Athens, Ga. By the end of the year, the goal is to have the network live in 15 cities.

The two LTE phones can also use AT&T's regular, nationwide data network. They will be sold with data plans that are identical to those required for other smartphones. For $15 per month, subscribers get 200 megabytes of data usage per month. For $25, the limit is ten times higher, or 2 gigabytes per month.
