I'm thinking about getting a Kel-Tec SU-16 rifle and the gun dealer said that regular AR-15 magazines will fit it. What is the maximum magazine capacity allowed by California law?

My Word on That: California Gun Laws are Screwy and Stupid
When I see an article on the Internet, and I see quite a few there is this huge need in my heart to say something. Usually it is something critical, and I leave that comment where allowed so it can be seen. Let's face it though. Some of those articles get 3,000 comments and the words get lost. Here I'm going to have my say. My word on that. I'll include a link to the article I'm angry about, or who knows - happy about? The issue of "Gun Runner" and our government letting criminals buy legal guns in various states and illegally transfer them to drug lords is in the news. The details are of course murkey. We're told they "lost track" of some 2,000 assault weapons. Perhaps they should have hired the California Department of Justice. In CA there are restrictive gun laws in place. Only hand guns on a government approved list may be shipped into the state (there are a few legal loop holes to this but not many)....
