I live in California and i understand that the magazine limit is only 10 rounds but according to the actual law, that should only apply to centerfire cartridges.

Simple.Go online and buy yourself a (10) round SKS magazine. There are a bunch on after markets sporting goods and military surplus stores that sell them. I just saw some 10 round mags the other day fior $5.95 each. These mags are legal to buy and use in most states. Just do

Once the block has been installed these magazines will not be able to have Ranger Plates added, it must be done at the same time as the modification to the magazine.
The New Magpul PMAG 10/20 and PMAG 10/30 magazines have been blocked in such a way that prevents the magazines from being able to be modified to hold more than 10 rounds. Attempts to make these magazines hold more than 10 rounds would result in the destruction of the magazine and thus render the magazine useless after any reasonable alteration has been attempted. Our test magazines were lterally destroyed while trying to alter the magazine to accept more than ten rounds.
