My friend is blind and wanted to read something in Braille. We went to the library to see if they had it, and we found out that they do not offer any books in Braille. Isn't this illegal?
I've seen so many Braille books come and sit and go. They were a curiosity for a few people, mostly scouts earning a merit badge or kids being home schooled, but not a single blind resident checked out a single book in Braille. Ever.

Mormons make no claim that the individuals in the Book of Mormon are one of the "lost tribes" or their descendants. The bulk of the Book of Mormon was written by the descendants of 2 specific families, and not an entire tribe.

US sues South Carolina over immigration law
(CNN) -- Justice Department officials pressed their campaign against an immigration law in South Carolina on Monday, saying the measure passed there this summer unconstitutionally pre-empts federal authority.
South Carolina's law also could lead to the harassment and detention of authorized visitors, immigrants and citizens, federal officials argue in court documents.
The law would "undermine federal law and invade federal authority by imposing punitive sanctions for conduct that falls outside of the state's police powers and that Congress affirmatively decided should not be subject to such sanctions. And it will interfere with and undermine the federal government's control over relations with foreign governments," officials argue, referring to the state trying to require the carrying of documents to prove residency.
The complaint filed in federal court in South Carolina follows similar lawsuits in Arizona and Alabama.

SALT LAKE CITY — Police in a small Utah town say officers who pepper-sprayed a group performing a traditional Polynesian haka dance after a high school football game last month followed departmental policy and did not violate state law.
A report released Wednesday says that while the two Roosevelt, Utah officers could have chosen other ways to maintain security, spraying the dancers and using batons was not inappropriate. The officers said the dancers were blocking an exit as players and game officials were trying to leave.
