Can you name me U.S Law book author?

a good one.

The term "law book" usually means reference works. I recommend "Norton Bankruptcy Law & Practice," new in its 3rd edition. List price is $2,994.00 US.

Can anyone suggest some good books and authors on how to start and build a law practice.?

My jurisdiction is California, but it should not matter. Any suggestions and/or personal experiences using the book would be appreciated. Thanks.

Try "How to Start and Build a Law Practice" by Jay Foonberg. You can get it through the ABA. I have read the book. I haven't started my own practice, but it has excellent general advice on practicing law.

Law, Love & Life at Law School: Amrita Suresh on her first novel “When a ...

Friends, Law Professors, one hour classes that seemed like an eternity, life at hostel, lazy weekends, stepping into the library the day before the exams, thick law books that remained unopened, numerous case laws, debates and moots, internships, aspirations to make it big in law firms, falling in and out of love! All this put together culminates into five years of strenuous law school life, like any other college life at any campus.

These are the exact things that debutant author Amrita Suresh’s novel “When a Lawyer Falls in Love” narrates rejuvenating one’s memory of the five years of life at law school. The novel does not, however, limit itself to the academic lives but also goes ahead to narrate the personal and professional lives of lawyers and how they find the perfect love at the end. The simple yet free flowing language used by the author just adds to its charm.

As part of Edinburgh’s annual West Port Book Festival , the Scottish Poetry Library hosted a 3 hour battle for “Copyright: What’s it all about,” on 16th October, with tea and cakes, well attended by media persons, library members, writers, solicitors, artists, content creators, and other publishing students.

Three distinguished speakers offered their points of view on copyright law, its history, and increasing relevance in these fast changing digitised times, locally and internationally. Dr. Padmini Ray Murray, Lecturer of Publishing Studies at University of Stirling chaired the panel.

Dublin born Ronan Sheehan, began with a tribute to Columcille, the Irish saint who founded the monastery of Iona and declared “To every cow its calf, to every book its copy....
