MTV EMA – Belfast 2011 - men's fashion blog

It is that time of the year again, the MTV Europe Music Awards 2011 live from Belfast. I used to LOVE the EMAs, but it seems with each year that passes they get more and more “American” with artists from the U.S. performing and winning the awards, and not many from Europe, despite it being the EUROPEAN Music Awards. I like some of the U.S. music of course, but I think the Euro’s should be more involved.
This year the UK has been dominating the music world which has been amazing, so I am hoping that there are plenty of awards for UK artists.
Performing on the night will be:
Bruno Mars, Coldplay, David Guetta, Jason Derulo, Jessie J, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, LMFAO, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Snow Patrol and Queen . It is hosted by Selena Gomez.
As for the Nominees, well another year rolls by and it’s another year dominated by the Americans. Jessie J and Adele lead the way for the UK, and that is pretty much it for Europe. David Guetta and Coldplay are nominated too, Justice get their seemingly annual nomination, Arctic Monkeys and Enrique also get a nomination....
